This section will always be evolving, but for now, sit back and take look at what I make out of vintage (1890's-1960's) silverware. I use the decorative handles to make jewelry and mirrors. I add a few pieces/parts and voila!
Although I make many of these pieces to be worn as pins, because the orientation of the pin on the back is verticle it can be used as a pendant when hung from a chain or cord. Some of my customers say they use the angels as ornaments, too. How you want to use these original works of art is up to you.
To the right, I also have pictures of wall ornaments made from the large serving spoons and Christmas ornaments that are made from the tablespoons. I have hand painted all of these.
Something new that I have added to my line-up of jewelry are the teaspoon pendants that have colored papers, beads and other objects suspended in a clear resin. Very cool!
I do not have pictures of some other jewelry pieces or my wall mirrors at this time, all made incorporating the vintage silverware. Keep checking back for new images that I will add to this site as soon as I can.
Click on one of the pictures at the right to enlarge it and then you can start the slide show.
Thanks and have a great day!
